Ross Humphrey is a Director and Quantum Expert at Yendall Hunter, with over 18 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry.
Ross has been appointed as an independent Quantum Expert on several occasions, including court matters, and has been the lead quantum assistant for the preparation of expert reports on numerous international construction and engineering disputes.
Ross has experience on large scale projects in the UK, as well as overseas in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, North America, Asia and Australia.
Before joining Yendall Hunter, Ross was a Director of Blackrock Expert Services (now part of Kroll). Prior to that, Ross gained extensive industry experience in most construction sectors, including, residential and commercial buildings, roads and highways developments, and large-scale civil engineering and infrastructure projects in the oil and gas, power and nuclear energy sectors.
Ross has a wide knowledge of the FIDIC, JCT and NEC forms of contract, and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Ross also has a bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying and an MSc in construction law.
